EDIT 3: I’ve written an article about how privacy is respected and published it just now. Feel free to check it out: https://skyblock.finance/docs/legal/privacy
Can you DM me a screenshot? I’m pretty sure what you’re seeing is what Safari is reporting for all websites you recently visited, not only for Skyblock Finance. The only third-party that’s used on SF is Plausible, which is a very reputable and privacy-friendly alternative to the usual tools like Google Analytics. Plausible doesn’t even use cookies, hence why there’s no annoying GDPR or cookie banners on Skyblock Finance. Nor does it sell any data.
EDIT: I forgot that I also have BetterUptime integrated which notifies users when there’s an issue with the website. I’ll look into if they include unwanted trackers, and remove that integration if they do. (EDIT: They don’t seem to include analytics on Skyblock Finance itself, but they do on the entirely separate status page — you don’t have to visit that one though if you don’t want to, it’s highly optional)
EDIT 2: Is it possible that you visited https://status.skyblock.finance? That page is a third-party (BetterUptime) page that shows if there’s any issues with Skyblock Finance or the Bazaar API right now. That third-party uses Google Analytics among others.
I looked through what gets loaded on Skyblock Finance itself, and I couldn’t find any indication that Google Analytics or other privacy-invading trackers are loaded by it. I tried to get a privacy report on my Safari, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem possible to reset it so it’s hard to verify what it saw where.
My current guess is, that it assumes that status.skyblock.finance and skyblock.finance are the same thing, and displays the trackers for both pages just summarized as skyblock.finance. This is what my macOS Safari showed me, and I can assure you that they’re false positives.
You can also (somewhat) verify this yourself by entering https://skyblock.finance
in this tool that checks for Google Analytics. This is the result it gave me:
The only Analytics running on Skyblock Finance itself is Plausible. I wouldn’t dream of adding Google anywhere I can avoid it
I also do take privacy seriously, both for myself and for projects I work on. That’s why I picked Plausible and that’s why I chose not to collect any personal information like email addresses for the login. I hope this answers your question, and if you want me to take a look at the exact report you got, feel free to send me the screenshot via DM

chad. will be checking that out RN.
Ok i checked it out and heres my opinion: When i check a website the first thing i do is to check it with a low end pc with hardware acceleration off. As you guessed its super laggy like that its unusable with a lowend pc with hardware acceleration off unlike other popular bazaar trackers so maybe optimize it a bit. second is the website seems way too empty, it needs more options and stuff. just like gemcrafting add a crafting section for all items. dont get me wrong the website is very cool im just here cherry picking for it to be perfect

Are you talking about the list of all bazaar items or is there something else that was laggy for you? I'm aware that the performance of the list isn't great, it's just not that easy to fix without adding pagination to it or without removing features

Yeah, Skyblock Finance just started like 7 months ago and isn't even close to what I want it to be like in the long-term. There's tons of features I have on my radar, just don't have enough time to build them all instantly
