The InTempo skyscraper in Benidorm is one of the most representative projects of the real estate crisis in Spain. Its construction came to a standstill in the midst of the crisis and has taken 14 years to finish. This July 2021, the works were finally completed, after a refurbishment carried out by the developer Uniq Residencial, which also markets the properties.
The building is the tallest residential skyscraper in the EU and is almost 200 metres high and has more than 40 floors. It houses 256 homes, with prices starting from 263,000 euros, although the top floors are on the market for more than 1 million euros.
According to the idealista listing, the cheapest property (263,000 euros) has a surface area of 75m2, 2 bedrooms, a terrace, and is located on the fifth floor. There are alsomid-priced 2-bedroom properties with 75-90m2 for around 400,000 euros, located on the 25th floor of the skyscraper. The most expensive unit has a surface area of 215m2, 3 bedrooms and a terrace, is located on the 44th floor and costs almost 9 times as much: it is on the market for 1.79 million euros. It is precisely on the top floors of the building where the famous diamond is located and where the most exclusive properties are to be found.
The InTempo building has 13,000m2 of communal areas, including 3 swimming pools (one of which is 750 m2), a 1,000 m2 children's area, a restaurant (for the use of property owners and tenants only) with a 1,200m2 terrace, and a wellness area on the top floor with an infinity pool. Sunset Waves is one of the most distinctive new projects in terms of design in Benidorm. It consists of 2 sail-shaped towers with around 30 floors. The complex, marketed by TM Grupo Inmobiliario, includes 2, 3 and 4 bedroom flats and is conceived as a residential development with facilities and services typical of a hotel resort on the Spanish coast.
